Online Lecture by Assistant Professor Gabriel Evangelou
The STELA/LARES Laboratory is pleased and honored to host, for the opening lecture of the Colloquium organized for the academic year 2025–2026, Dr. Gabriel Evangelou, Assistant Professor of Latin Language and Literature at the Ionian University.
Dr. Evangelou will deliver a lecture entitled: “Private Communication, Public Reconciliation: The Letter as a Means of Restoring Relationships in the Age of Cicero”, an exceptionally engaging topic that sheds light on the intersections of politics and literature in Republican Rome.
